Awa Pendant Light [DEMO]

Description

By combining the perceived fragility of glass with the raw heft of bronze, Shibato has produced a fitting which is contrasting and yet somehow not contradictory in tone; it just works. The Brokis Awa Pendant Light takes its name from the Japanese word for a ball made from air wrapped in liquid. A bronze cap is visible through the glass, with Shibato seeing it as a playful nod to bottle corks, acting as if it is stopping the air from escaping from within the lamp. The beautiful, but somewhat unique, smoke brown finish sets the Awa apart from its contemporaries.
